David McPherson and Chamberlain Z's Grand Prix win claims BS Performance of the Month award

David McPherson and Chamberlain Z's victory in the opening Grand Prix of the 2011 Spanish Sunshine Tour has been voted British Showjumping's Performance of the Month February.

David and Ansgar and Ellen Holtgers' 10-year-old grey gelding were one of only three combinations, all British, from 51 starters to go double clear, taking victory from fellow British combos Robert Whitaker and USA Today and William Funnell with Billy Angelo.

Laura Renwick and Oz De Breve's HOYS win is British Showjumping Performance of the Month

Laura Renwick from Maldon in Essex and Oz de Breve’s Horse of the Year Show Leading Show Jumper of the Year victory has been voted Performance of the Month for October.

Laura, riding David Perry’s eight-year-old chestnut Selle Francais gelding Oz de Breve, was last to go in the jump-off and produced the fastest double clear to snatch the victory from a world-class field.

Eric Lamaze and John Fleischhacker named "Owner of the Year"

For the second year running, Eric Lamaze and John Fleischhacker, joint-owners of the 14-year-old bay stallion Hickstead, have been awarded the prestigious Owner of the Year title by the Jumping Owners' Club.

Hickstead and Canadian rider Eric Lamaze continued their superb form to maintain their position as the most successful horse and rider combination in 2009.

Christian Baillet, Cchairman of the Jumping Owners Club, and FEI first vice president Sven Holmberg presented the award to Eric Lamaze. The ceremony took place during the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington, USA.
