British squad for Falsterbo announced

will be on the British team
Britain's world class performance manager for show jumping Rob Hoekstra has announced his squad of five for the Falsterbo Nations Cup this Friday (8 July 2011).

The squad
  • Hampshire’s Peter Charles will partner Murka’s Nevada VI, a 10-year-old chestnut stallion who is jointly owned by Olga White and Team Murka Ltd. This combination has appeared on both the La Baule and Rome FEI Nations Cup teams, Murka's Nevada having made his debut at 5* Nations Cup level earlier this year
  • Buckinghamshire’s Simon Crippen with Alo and Andrew Brake’s nine-year-old chestnut stallion Voss, who made their first appearance in teams this year
  • Bruce Menzies, from West Sussex, with the Old Lodge Stud owned nine-year-old grey gelding Sultan V. This combination has been a member of both the Lummen and Lisbon Nations Cup Teams
  • Reigning King George V Gold Cup champions Tim Stockdale and Colin And Ann Garratt's Fresh Direct Kalico Bay will be making their third appearance as a combination at this level.
  • Robert Whitaker, from West Yorkshire, will partner the 10-year-old bay stallion USA Today, who owned jointly by Mandy Hall and Robert's mother, Clare.

The Nations Cup will take place on Friday, 8 July at 14:30 local time, with the Grand Prix commencing on Sunday, 11 July at 15:00 local time.
