The new site (www.hickstead.co.uk) features a modern look, and is filled with great content that’s easy to navigate. The additions to the website include the ‘My Hickstead’ section, where you can sign up to our e-newsletter and be the first to know about our competitions and giveaways; plus the ‘Competitor Zone’, which has downloadable schedules, entry forms and information for riders. An online treasure trove of behind-the-scenes exclusives, rider interviews and some little known facts about Hickstead will also be added to the site over the coming weeks.
The website contains full details about all our shows — the British Jumping Derby Meeting, the Longines Royal International Horse Show, the Hurstpierpoint College National Schools and Pony Club Championships, plus our new National fixture for September 2011, the All England Jumping Championships.
Visitors to the site can also book tickets to our fixtures, explore the various membership and hospitality options, discover more about Hickstead’s history and order the excellent book ‘Hickstead: A Golden Celebration’, which was released last year to mark the venue’s 50th anniversary. Show spectators can access all the essential information, such as where to stay, how to find us, where to shop, and even what the latest weather forecast is.
While Hickstead is always best known as a leading showjumping and showing venue, there is plenty more on offer which is reflected in the new website. There’s information about the All England Polo Club, Dressage at Hickstead, and also our venue hire options, including weddings, parties, conferences, corporate days, filming and photo shoots, facility hire and more.
