Jessica Kurten took victory in today's (Saturday, 5 February 2011) ladies' competition at Bordeaux's five-star fixture in France, piloting Ulrich Volkhausen's 10-year-old bay mare Fashion.
The Antrim-born rider was one of 16 to start in the second round of the three-leg Prix des Amazones and beat French challenger Caroline Nicholas (Oxford d'Esquelmes) to the post by just under a second.
The final of the ladies-only competition takes place on Sunday, 6 February 2011.
