The weekend's big winners

Gucci Masters CSI*****/**
German riders took the top two places in the weekend's most lucrative Grand Prix at the Paris Gucci Masters (3-5 December). Marco Kutchsher (Cash 63) beat Christian Ahlmann (Taloubet Z) to the €75,000 first prize by just 0.06 seconds.
Sweden's Rolf-Goran Bengtsson tookthe show's second big prize funded class, the Gucci men v Women winning round by a narrow margin, too. Riding Quintero La Silla, he pipped home rider Penelope Leprevost (Mylord Carthago HN) by 0.11 seconds.

The USA's Reed Kessler took the two-star Land Rover Grand Prix with Mika.

Pappas Amadeus Salzburg CSI****
Switzerland's Steve Guerdat claimed himself a car in Austria by winning the Sportland Grand Prix ahead of Britain's Peter Charles. Five made the jump-off of the class and four of them went double clear, with Steve heading the class by just over 2 seconds.

One- and two-star Grands Prix
Jamie Wingrave claimed a home win for Hungary in Budapest's CSI** World Cup Grand Prix with Sissi after a seven-horse jump-off. Jerry Smit took the show's Grand Prix with Luis Della Cacci, the second Grand Prix winner for Italy after Francesca Crivellari claimed victory in the Manerbio CSI* (ITA) equivalent with Vici Van't Plutoniahof.

Sweden's Erika Lickhammer and Caballito headed the Neeroeteren CSI**'s major class, while Frenchman Michel Robert took the Barcelona CSI* Grand Prix with Orietn du Puy.

In the USA, Brazil's Paulo Santana claimed first place in the World Cup Grand Prix at Wellington's CSI** Horse and Holidays fixture with Taloubet.
