Peter Charles' triple Hickstead Derby winner has been scanned to in foal to Sandra Cordiner's Murka's Pall Mall, who won the King George V Gold Cup with Peter in 2009.

"She has had her 14- and 20-day scans," said Neston Park Stud manager, where Corrada is currently based with Nations News, a colt by Last News born on Hickstead Nations Cup morning. "She will have her last scan on Thursday (23 September) which will be a 29-day heartbeat scan."

The resultant foal is believed to be the first whose parents have both been major Hickstead title winners.

Corrada won the Hickstead Derby in 2001, 2002 and 2003, not touching a fence in any of these years. She also won the 2001 Derby in La Baule and later that year went on to win team gold and the European Championships in Arnhem, The Netherlands, with Peter, who was riding for Ireland at the time.

Murka's Pall Mall, a son of Galoubet A, won the King George V Gold Cup with the sole double clear in 2009. He was retired to stud earlier this year and stands at Pembershill Stud.
