Success for Brits in Italy

Laura Renwick and Oz De Breve
La Bagnaia's CSI*** proved to be a happy hunting ground for British competitors last weekend (16-19 September), but none more so than Laura Renwick.

She had saved her best performances to the last day of the show, when she took all three classes including the Grand Prix.

Laura jumped the fastest of two double clears riding David Perry's Oz De Breve winning herself a Jaguar car. Roller Coaster III had begun the hattrick for her claiming a 1.30m two-phase, while Softrack Beluga II followed this with a 1.35m speed win.

William Funnell had started off the winning run for the Brits by taking the first day's E20,000 1.45m speed competition with his stallion Billy Congo, while Peter Charles and Olga White's Murka's Rubert R headed an accumulator on Saturday.
