Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum has taken back the German National Championship she last won in 2008 with Checkmate 4.
After four rounds of competition involving 40 riders, Meredith collected four penalties in the final round. She beat Christian Ahlmann (Lorenzo), who gained 4.25 penalties in the second round, into silver medal position, and Allois Pollmann-Schweckhorst (Chacco-Blue), who had a total of 4.75 penalties, into bronze.
