"Brian Lear, the owner of Urlanmore Aldi (who was eighth in the Templant Events Queen Elizabeth II Cup), was injured following an incident involving the ramp on his horsebox at the Longines Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead on Saturday (30 July 2011) afternoon.
"Mr Lear was taken to The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, but has since been transferred to a specialist unit. He has broken his back, and at present is unable to walk."
