Following a foot problem with Dutch reserve rider Leopold Van Asten's mount VDL Groep Santana B, the Dutch have only flown the four first team selected horses to Kentucky.
VDL Groep Santana B has almost recovered from the problem, but Dutch chef d'equipe Rob Ehrens decided not to fly the 11-year-old grey mare. No second reserve rider has been called up.
The Dutch team consist of:
Marc Houtzager and HBC Tamino or Opium VS
Harrie Smolders and Exquis Walnut de Muze
Eric van der Vleuten and VDL Groep Utascha SFN
Jur Vrieling and VDL Bubalu
