Laura Robinson and Cree Cruiser |
British representatives competiting at Belgium's Nieuwpoort CSIP/J enjoyed a number of successes during the show's three days.
James Emblen was the first British winner heading a junior class on Friday, 20 August with Whisper V. Laura Robinson, who is
sponsored by equestrianclearance.com, followed this with a big tour junior class win on Cree Cruiser by 5 seconds. She also took the following day's big tour class by 3 seconds with the gelding, who has just returned to competition after an injury forced lay-off.
Unfortunately, Cree Cruiser got a little strong in the junior grand prix and Laura had to pull a circle to regain control, finishing fourth, with fellow Brit Tim Wilks and Sunkist second.
